Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show – Backstage 2018

For the seventh year running, Jeeves worked the annual show – the greatest fashion show in the world.  True to its name, the details of the event remain a closely guarded secret until the week before the event.

The shows organizers strive to maintain perfection in the looks that are shown and Jeeves is on hand to make sure.

Jeeves takes care of the cleaning of any item that is not perfect before it goes down the runway. From fabric wings, gloves, costumes and boots, Jeeves is backstage to touch up any imperfection that may be picked up on camera.

Backstage, there is a literal village of people involved to put on the show. Wing-makers, sewers, dressers, production staff, stage-hands, lighting directors, sound & audio, catering and security all contribute. In New York this year there were thousands of people backstage.

Jeeves was indispensable stage side this year, touching up the parachute wings worn by Gigi Hadid that had been stained during the final rehearsal. Jeeves also did stage side cleaning of the gloves worn by Ms. Hadid minutes before going down the runway.

To make it all go like clockwork, Jeeves sets up backstage with a team of three, work tools including stain removing agents and most importantly, the experience to take care of anything that wardrobe may need cleaned.

What Jeeves has built over the last eight years with Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is trust. Jeeves is relied upon to clean in a very short period of time, one-of-a-kind garments that need to go down the runway in a moment’s notice.

Celebration after the last look went down the runway!
